Stainless steel wire mesh is suitable for most kinds of filtration industries, such as petroleum, mining, paper-making, metallurgy etc. And for filtering in acid and alkali environments, stainless steel 316 or 316L is the best choice as it has perfect anti-acid and anti-alkali performance.
For tea filtering, dust filtering and other liquid filtering which doesn’t require high filtration precision, polyester mesh is a better choice. It is much cheaper and with similar performance.
For media which require high wear-resistance, Nylon 6 material and stainless steel mesh are the best, and stainless steel mesh has better performance than Nylon 6.
For food grade filtering, Nylon 66 and stainless steel are better. But price of stainless steel is higher than Nylon 66. You could select the most suitable material according to your actual demand and budget.
