MAISHI offers filter fabrics for fine chemicals,catalysts,pigments and coatings,metal and other products screening and filtration.
Polyester filter mesh is a fabric woven for separating solid particles from gas, water or other materials. Made of quality polyester monofilament yarns, our range of polyester filter mesh is characterized by stable physical property which makes it ideal for printing and filtering industry. All the meshes are semi-permeable woven with appropriate apertures based on your requirements for filtering certain sized particles.
Air Filtration
MAISHI offers filter fabrics for fine chemicals, catalysts, pigments and coatings, metal and other products screening and filtration.
They are used to clean the air conditioning system, interception of large particles in the atmosphere particles to prevent its entry into the air condition system.
Accurate filter accuracy, high efficiency, highporosity, low pressure loss, large filtration area.
Mesh Count
“Mesh count” represents the number of threads with per inch or per cm. conversion method as below:
Mesh per inch=25.4÷(d+w)
Mesh per cm=10÷(d+w)
(For “d” and “w”, please refer to the drawing in the right)
Example:
For 43T-80, wire diameter is 0.08mm, mesh opening is 0.15mm, what’s its
mesh count?
① Mesh per inch=25.4÷(0.08+0.15)=110 mesh per inch
② Mesh per cm=10÷(d+w)=43 mesh per cm

The formula for calculating theoretical ink volume
Vth = (W——W + d)²X D
Vth = theoretical ink volume (cm³/m²):
W = mesh opening in μm
d = wire diameter in μm
D = cloth thickness in μm
For example:
80T-48, 200 mesh/inch, wire diameter 48μm, cloth thickness 80μm, mesh opening 72μ
Vth = (72——72 + 48)²X 80 = 28.8 cm³/m²
The formula for calculating the finest line width
K(μm) = 2S(μm) + R(μm) “K” is the finest width of the finest printing ink line “S” is thread diameter “R” is mesh opening
For example:
80T-48, thread diameter 48μm, mesh opening 72μ
K= 2S + R =168μm
