Set screen length is AB, distance between the screen and the printed material is DP, screen length caused by the scraping plate is AP+BP, extension length is C, then C=(AP+BP)-AB

According to Pythagorean Theorem,

AP= √AD²+DP²

BP=√BD²+DP²

C=√ AD²+DP²+√BD²+DP² -AB

If C is smaller than the normal extension length of the mesh, within the limits of mesh extension length, then the distance between the screen and printed material which set is correct, to the contrary, need to adjust the hight between the screen and printed material.

For example:

Set screen length AB=165cm, distance between the screen and printed material DP=5cm, screen length caused by the scraping plate is AP+BP, extension length C=(AP+BP)-AB

AP=√(165/2)*(165/2)+5*5=82.65

BP=√(165/2)*(165/2)+5*5=82.65

C=82.65+82.65-165=0.3

Set normal screen extension length =165*15%(elongation rate)=24.75

As C=0.3 is smaller than the normal extension length of the mesh 24.75, then the distance 5cm between the screen and printed material which set is correct.
